(shoot from front stake) \n*NEW* – FUN AND CHALLENGING NOVELTY SHOOTS w/ GREAT PRIZES!! \nSaturday –  Big Buck$ Classic Competition Range\nShooter Registration: 8:00AM – 1:00PM; Cards in by 4:00PM; Money Presentation at approx. 4:30PM\nWe request participants stay for the award presentations. \nEligibility: Must be a WVBA member and qualify by shooting at any shoot on the WVBA schedule in 2025\nNo minimum score required. Shooting at the WV IBO Triple Crown shoots will also qualify for the Classic. \nShoot Cost: $20.00 \nShooting Classes: \nMen’s Open – 3D max 45 yards (red stake) \nWomen’s Open – 3D max 45 (red stake) \nMen’s Bowhunter – 3D max 35 yards (white stake) \nWomen’s Bowhunter – 3D max 35 yards (white stake) \nTraditional (selfbow\, longbow\, recurve) – 3D max 30 yards (blue stake) \nYouth (ages 13-17) – 3D max 30 yards (blue stake) \nCub (12 and under shoot free) – 3D max 20 yards (orange stake) \nThree round spot targets 60cm targets will be shot by each participant at known distances.\nThree arrows at each target\, 9 arrows total with a possible 90 points total on spot targets.\nTotal spot target score will be added to total 3-D score.\nOpen & Bowhunter classes: 20\, 30\, 40 yards (1 round each distance)\nTraditional: 20 yard (1 round) 30 yards (2 rounds) – new for 2025!\nYouth class: 20 yard (1 round) 30 yards (2 rounds) – new for 2025!\nCub Class: 20 yard (3 rounds) \n  \nEquipment Restrictions: \nNo Crossbows permitted\, vertical bows only with no draw locking devices \nMen & Women Open Class – No restrictions: Any type adjustable sight with or without lens\, any length stabilizer\, any style peep (clarifier). \nMen & Women Bowhunter class – Stabilizers (front/back/side) may not be longer than 12″ measured from the riser; fixed or moveable pin; with or without lens in sight. \nA verifier or clarifier style peep is allowed in Bowhunter class. \nTraditional – (selfbow\, longbow\, recurve) no sights; a single stabilizer not longer than 12″; no mechanical release aids \n  \nPayout and Awards: New Payouts out to 6th Place! \nAll Men & Women Classes including Youth:\n1st – $300; 2nd – $200; 3rd – $150; 4th – $100; 5th $50 and 6th – $25 \nCub class – 1st place plaque and $50 Gift Card; All cubs will be given a medal for shooting \n  \nRules & Regulations (as of 6/13/23; subject to revision) \n1. Must be a WVBA Member or part of a family membership (can join for $30 at the event) \n2. May only shoot in one class \n3. Range finders will be permitted \n4. Any power binocular may be used before shooting; once shot has been made no glassing from the shooting stake \n5. Must touch the shooting stake with a portion of his/her body \n6. Front kill zones only are to be scored \n7. Scoring will be 11\, 10\, 8\, 5 and 0 (any part of the foam target is a 5) \n8. Targets will be scored before any arrows are touched; any arrow pulled before scoring is a 0 \n9. Arrow shaft must be touching the line of the higher scoring ring to get the higher score \n10. Robin hood arrows will be scored same as the arrow imbedded in target \n11. Arrow must be stuck in the target or in embedded arrow to be scored \n12. Any questionable scores must be agreed upon by the group; if field judge is required his/her decision is final \n13. Groups will be limited to 4 persons; groups may be assigned at registration \n14. There will be two score keepers assigned at registration \n15. Shooters are responsible for verifying their score at each target and final score \n16. No changes to score card will be permitted once signed by shooter and score keeper and turned in \n17. Ties will be broken by the number of 11’s \n18. If a tie remains; there will be a one target shoot off with high score winning \n19. If a tie still remains; the final round will be closest to the center of the 11 ring \n20. If needed\, the WVBA President has final ruling on any conflicts or issues
